Woodrow Township is a forest and lake area between the cities of Longville and Hackensack in north-central Minnesota. Over 30 percent of the town is lake and river water area. Cass County and the state of Minnesota own and manage about 25 percent of the town as forest land and for motorized and non-motorized outdoor recreation. Homeowners, cabin owners, small businesses and non-profit agencies own about 45 percent of Woodrow Township land area. Chippewa National Forest abuts Woodrow Township on the north. North Country National Scenic Trail passes east-west just north of Woodrow in the Chippewa Forest. Deep Portage Learning Center is located in the center of the township. Children from throughout the country come to the center to learn about nature. They see wildlife and wild flowers on a daily basis. Public activities and tours are offered on weekends. Some of the recreational assets available in Woodrow Township include snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle trails and hiking and hunting trails. Many lakes have public accesses for boaters and fishermen. The town has no major industries or cities, but rather serves as the ultimate home and recreation center set in a natural setting for everyone lucky enough to own property or visit here.

All Regular Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted in the Meeting Schedule and posted in the Pine Cone Press.

In the case of inclement weather, the meeting will be held the following Thursday.
